Description: Historic Pueblo, Inc. (HPI) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2003 after the city adopted the Pueblo Historic Preservation Ordinance. The ordinance was established to preserve and protect historic structures and sites. No city funding was available with the preservation ordinance, nor was there an established organization to promote the actions that could be taken as a result of the ordinance. Thus HPI was created by citizens interested in promoting and fostering the vision of historic preservation....
